DORVAL DAY CAMP – SUMMER 2023

When: from June 26 to August 18 every Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: At the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (1295 Dawson Avenue)

The Dorval Day Camp is gearing up for another great summer! Once again, we will have a fun-packed summer, with daily activities and games, special workshops, sports, fun at the pools and parks, and much more.

The weekly camp schedule will be available in March on our website at www.campdejourdorval.org.

 

Annual General Meeting

The AGM is set to take place on March 25, 2023, 9:00am at the SDCC. For those present at the AGM, registration can start at the end of the meeting.

Our camp is run by a volunteer parent committee. If you are interested in giving back to the community and volunteering with us, please let us know during the meeting.

 

Programs

Youth program (ages 5 to 9):

  • Rate for residents: $200 per week – flat rate per child
  • Rate for non-residents: $210 per week – flat rate per child
  • Discount of $10 per week on AGM date.

Pre-teen program (ages 10 to 12):

  • Rate for residents: $210 per week, – flat rate per child
  • Rate for non-residents: $220 per week – flat rate per child
  • Discount of $10 per week on AGM date.

Companion Program (ages 5-12):

–       The companion program’s main goal is to integrate children with disabilities. If you think that your child would benefit from being in our companion program, please do not register online. Please send an email to campdejourdorval@gmail.com explaining the difficulties that your child faces and which weeks you are looking at registering for.

–       Our companion program is funded by Federal and Provincial grants. Once our funding is approved, we will reach out to each parent of this program to confirm their registration. It is very important to register this way as if you register your child without flowing this procedure, we might have to cancel your registration due to a lack of resources.

 

Registration

Weekly maximum of 80 children.

  • For Dorval residents registration begins: Monday, March 27 at 8:30 a.m.
  • For non-Dorval residents, registration begins: Monday, April 3rd, as of 8:30 a.m.

  • To register you will need your and your child’s LUDIK number (located on the bottom of your Dorval resident’s card). If you are not a Dorval resident, please call the city of Dorval at (514) 633-4000 prior to the beginning of registration to obtain a LUDIK account.
  • Method of Payment: MasterCard, Visa, Debit
  • Complete the Health and Safety and Registration Requirements form for each child. Once completed, please forward it to us with a recent photo of your child to campdejourdorval@gmail.comPlease note that your registration will be finalized ONLY upon receipt of the Health and Safety and Registration Conditions form and the photo of your child.

Registration in-person:

  • For Dorval residents registration begins: Monday, March 27 at 8:30 a.m
  • For non-Dorval residents, registration begins: Monday, April 3rd, as of 8:30 a.m.
  • Registration can be completed at Sarto-Desnoyers Community Center or Surrey Aquatic and Community Center during regular office hours.
  • To register you will need your and your child’s LUDIK number (located on the bottom of your Dorval resident’s card). If you are not a Dorval resident, please call the city of Dorval at (514) 633-4000 prior to the beginning of registration to obtain a LUDIK account.
  • Method of Payment: MasterCard, Visa, Debit, Cash, or blank cheques payable to the City of Dorval (cheque specifics given at the time of registration only – Please do not bring a completed cheque to registration.
  • Should parents need to have separate tax receipts, please ensure that the payment is made separately under each person’s name at the time of registration. Changes cannot be made after!
  • Complete the Health and Safety and Registration Requirements form for each child. Once completed, please forward it to us with a recent photo of your child to campdejourdorval@gmail.comPlease note that your registration will be finalized ONLY upon receipt of the Health and Safety and Registration Conditions form and the photo of your child.

 

A split payment option is available when paying by cheque only. 50% is required at the time of registration and 50% dated May 15 (cheque specifics will be given at the time of registration only –please do not bring a completed cheque to registration).

To obtain your Resident Card, each person (except children 5 years old and under) must bring two pieces of ID with an address to the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (DASC), Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m or at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre as well during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m).

If you only want a PIN (without the resident card) and you cannot come to the DASC during regular business hours, you can send them by email to lc@ville.dorval.qc.ca and we will create a file for you and we will give you a PIN.
