REGISTRATION – SPRING CAMP 2020

Online registration (www.city.dorval.qc.ca) begins for residents as of Wednesday, November 27, at 6 p.m. It will also be possible for residents to register in-person at the SDCC only on November 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Then, registration will continue online and in-person during office hours at the SDCC and SACC.

Registration for non-residents starts on Wednesday, December 4, at 8:30 a.m., online and in-person.

If your child/children will be attending the Dorval Day Camp’s Spring break Camp, please read the important checklist and reminders below:

Please provide your child with 2 snacks, a water bottle and lunch for all days in exception to lunch on Friday, the camp will be providing pizza lunch on that day, but for that day the children will still need two snacks and a water bottle. (Food MUST be PEANUT/NUT-FREE)

Include a pair of indoor shoes

ICE SKATING ARENA – Please send your child with their pair of ice skates and include a helmet for safety; children will not be permitted to step on the ice without a helmet. Those who do not have skates will play calm games off the ice with an animator during that hour and be able to watch the others.

SWIMMING POOL – Please send your child with their swimsuit and towel as well as a plastic bag to put their wet items in after swimming. We ask that you notify the camp at the sign-in desk on your child’s swimming ability. Flotation devices will be provided on-site by the attending lifeguards for all children that require one.

Please prepare a change of clothes in case any get wet if weather permits for outdoor play

Send your child/children with their winter gear in case the weather allows for playing outside (Tuque, mittens, scarf, jacket, snow pants, boots, etc.)

Important:

  • Daycare service is included, 7 AM – 9 AM and 4 PM – 6 PM, please call the office if your child will be absent on any given day.
  • You MUST provide a valid photo ID when picking up your child at our sign-IN/OUT station. (no exceptions as this is a safety protocol)

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

For children from 5 years old (currently in kindergarten) to 12 years old.

Price per week (residents): $ 200 / child
Price for non-residents: $ 210 / child

1) In Person:

Registration locations:   

** On November 27 starting 6 p.m to 8 p.m. at SDCC only. Then, registration will continue during office hours at both SDCC and SACC. **

Requirements:

• Completed Security / Health form with picture (scanned or hard copy)
• Resident Card or proof of residency (for Dorval residents)
• Method of payment: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Debit or blank cheques payable to the City of Dorval (cheque specifics given at time of registration only – Please do not bring a completed cheque to registration.)
• (Summer) Split payments by cheque only: 50% at time of registration and 50% dated May 15. (cheque specifics given at time of registration only – Please do not bring a completed cheque to registration.)

2) Online:

Here’s what you need to register your child online:

Your PIN and the PIN of your children.
The PIN can be found on your Dorval Resident Card.

To obtain your Resident Card, each person (except children 5 years old and under) must bring two pieces of ID with an address to the Sarto Desnoyers Community Center (CCSD), Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

If you only want a PIN (without the resident card) and you can not come to the CCSD during regular business hours, you can fax a copy of both pieces of ID to 514-633-4016 or send them by email to lc@ville.dorval.qc.ca and we will create a file for you and we will give you a PIN.

For more information on how to obtain your PIN or Dorval Resident Card, please call the CCSD at 514-633-4000.

Complete the Health and Safety and Registration Requirements form for each child.

You can then save them and send them with a scanned photo of your child to lc@ville.dorval.qc.ca or file them at the CCSD, 1335 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, H9S 2E5.

Please note that your registration will be finalized ONLY upon receipt of the Health and Safety and Registration Conditions form and the photo of your child. Failure to comply with these conditions could result in the cancellation of your child’s registration.
